Pusat Kajian Ekonomika dan Bisnis Syariah (PKEBS) or the Center for Research in Islamic Economics and Business will host the 9th Gadjah Mada International Conference on Islamic Economics and Business (GamaICIEB) on September 28, 2024, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The series of events at GamaICIEB includes an international conference consisting of the main conference and a student colloquium, where participants will present papers according to their respective fields.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Islamic Financial Literacy and Inclusion: Dynamics and Advancement in Accounting, Business, and Economics.”
The objective of this international conference is to stimulate research writing on Islamic economics and development, Islamic business, as well as Islamic accounting and finance. This event provides benefits by facilitating networking among academics, policymakers, practitioners, and other interested parties in Islamic economic research. Additionally, this conference is expected to serve as a forum for sharing and developing research.
